What's New With Our Crew!

Hello all,
It has been awhile so many things have changed during the 2012 year for us.It started in November when Mark lost his job and we found out that we were expecting. Then in February I was put on weight restrictions in the end made me lose my job. We lost four family members in a matter of six weeks and had more health concerns dealing with the pregnancy all during this time. In March Mark got a job but unfortunately that only lasted about two months and by June he was fired. In late July I was put on bedrest due to further complications with the pregnancy then finally on August 1st at 1:49 pm we welcomed Gideon into this world. He was 9 pounds 10.5 ounces and 20.5 inches long. It has been the highlight after all of these trials and tribulations we have experienced thus far. Now Gideon will be eight weeks tomorrow and is growing and changing daily. He is a baby with a big appetite and already weighs over 13 pounds. He is only one of our pride and joys though. Jordan has made the volleyball team this year and is taking all honors courses. We can't express how proud we are of her. She has also taken on the responsibility of two jobs on the weekends. Then there is Hannah, she is doing great in Maine. She is helping with the responsibility of training their puppy they got this summer. Hannah is also taking some honors courses and I believe she is going to play soccer this year. Again we can't express how proud we are of her. Mark and I continue to try to find jobs. Hopefully we will find something soon! I will try to update again soon!
Love you all,

Updates!!

Hello all,
Thought I should do some updating so you all know what all four of us are up to. For starters we are all doing great! Jordan is a freshman this year and has her first real boyfriend. She really likes him and is having a ball at her homecomings and ball games. She is also playing volleyball again this year. She made the all freshman team. She is also doing well in school as usual. Hannah is doing cross country again this year and is a sixth grader now. She is doing great in cross country. Her times are going down every meet she runs in. She is also doing great in school as usual. She is even in an advanced math class this year! Both girls are so smart! Mark is working and helping me around the house as normal. He is such a great husband! I really appreciate all he does to help me out. Lastly, I am doing great and trying hard to get A's again this semester. So far I don't have much for grades so we will have to wait a bit longer to see what they are going to end up being. That's about all for us right now!!!!! Talk to you all soon! Love you all!

Vacation!

That's right the Wilson's are actually going to take some vacation time to be a family together! I'm so excited I can hardly wait. We have Hannah right now until August 8th and will be getting Jordan next week! Mark and I plan on spending some money and doing many different things with the kids! I sure hope we picked the right activities so that Jordan and Hannah have a really good time while Mark and I are off work. On to other things, Jordan finished and passed driver's education and she now is proud to have obtained a learner's permit. So she has asked if she could drive while she is with us in Wichita and, so that she can get experience, she will probably get to; at least a little bit. Jordan will also be taking tennis lessons this summer and I sure hope that goes well for her. Hannah is so far enjoying her time here with us. She has been here for a week and we have already been swimming like five maybe six times. The best thing of all is that she is here for a little while and Jordan is going to get to see and spend time with her! Hannah is happy to be moving into middle school next year, also. Mark's birthday is coming up and so we will be celebrating that while we have both kids. Mark couldn't ask for a better birthday present, to have both kids and time off to celebrate. I have been doing the same thing as always: school, work, and the occasional date night with Mark. I recently passed my TEAS test which is great because that means I'm one step closer to nursing school. I will finish my summer semester with, hopefully, an A and then be turning in my application to nursing school at WSU for the spring semester of 2012. Hopefully, I will get in that semester and be done with school, graduating with my bachelors, just four semesters later. I will hear back about whether I got in or not by mid October to early November. I will be sure to let all of you know! That pretty much catches everyone up! Love ya all, Eliora

Jordan Graduation

It has been some time since I posted last but I think it's is time to catch up. To start we have now had two visits with Hannah flying in. Both visits have been good but it doesn't get much easier to say bye every time. Hannah is doing cross-country. She is in two accelerated class: Math and English. She is doing well up there. Jordan has been busy and has big changes coming her way this summer. She is taking drivers ed this summer. Everyone beware she is going to be driving in a short few months (scared face). Just kidding Jordan I think you will be a good driver. Also another big thing for Jordan is that she is graduating from the eighth grade this May. Her graduation is on May 23rd at 7pm in Hays of course. I wanted to let you all know in case any of you wanted to come. Nothing has really changed with Mark and I. He is still working to support me and the girls and I'm still going to school and working to help support our little family. Hope all is going well with everyone!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Jordan and Hannah

Well Jordan has had two games so far and it's sad to say but not a win yet. Mark has gotten to go to both of them and says that he did see improvement. I hope they will get a win soon. She is really liking volleyball. We have also been able to keep up with Hannah too. Hannah was recommended by her PE teacher to be in cross-country so she is doing that. Also she was elected to be in a group of kids that a professor from the private college takes and teaches art to. She is doing that too! They are both becoming very active within their schools. So at least they aren't bored all the time. Mark and I are glad that they are active but we sure miss them both. Both children seem to be doing great right now and that is the best gift of all. As for me and Mark, I'm doing the college thing and doing good in school. I have either B's or A's so I'm excited about that. I'm just starting to get over my cold but unfortunately Mark has got it now. Other than that Mark is doing good. He can't wait for winter break so that we can get the kids. Neither can I for that matter and I won't have school either which is a plus. Well that's pretty much all for now. ttyl. Love you all

Some updating

For those who don't know Hannah has left this state and moved to Maine. We haven't got to hear from her yet but she is definitely on our minds. Mark and I are already missing her terribly as I'm sure Jordan is too. Jordan is so busy with school and now sports too that we haven't got to talk to her much. Mark and I are kind of have an empty nest for now at least. I guess that comes with age though. We do know that Jordan has made the volleyball team and is really excited about that. Also Hannah will start school on Tuesday and I hope that she makes lots of friends and loves it up there.
I have started school again too. I'm swamped with homework and work. I also switched shifts so that I can be more focused on school. I work now mostly in the evenings. I am liking the switch I just wish my body would switch to where I could sleep at nights again. I'm getting so tired. So far school is going good other than the being tired part.
Mark is working here and there. He is still applying for higher paying jobs in hopes that I won't have to work as much and so I can focus more on school. He is doing good other than dealing with Hannah leaving and Jordan being so busy that she hasn't been able to come down and see us.

Summer Update

Well summer is in full swing. We are all having a blast so far. Jordan is a certified baby sitter and is making some money this summer. Hannah has a busy summer between our visits and going on vacation and camp she is hoping. Hannah had a blast at camp last week. She showed Mark and I some of the skits, sang us some songs, and even taught us some games that she learned there. Next fall Jordan plans on participating in cheer leading, volleyball, basketball and track. She will be one busy girl next year. Jordan will be the big bad eighth grader too!!
My summer is about to get busier for a little bit. I have two weddings I'm in this summer which just both happen to be in the same weekend. Between work and weddings and then preparing for the fall semester my summer is pretty booked. I will hopefully get my vacation that I asked for in July, by then I will need some R&R time.
Mark's summer consists of working, spending time with the kids and keeping up with me and the stuff I'm doing. He will be running just as much as I am. Poor guy. Maybe he can get some R&R too!! Well that's about all for now. With Love, The Wilson's
